Ted Thin Elk (August 14, 1919 – January 27, 1997 in Rosebud Sicangu Lakota Reservation, South Dakota), American actor, a Sicangu Lakota Sioux, who spent most of his life on the Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation in South Dakota. He was 72 when he got his first role in the movie ''Thunderheart''.
